COVID-19 Policies

IMG_0611.JPG

By its very nature skin care and massage therapy requires close contact and you should be familiar with the face that infection control has always been a top priority to me.  As we navigate life with additional requirements and modify existing measures due to coronavirus, please help me to support all of my clients by cooperating with some new requirements.

At this time, I have decided to hold off on offering skin care services

until I feel it is safe to resume those services.

My practice follows the mandatory guidelines set forth by the Massachusetts Reopening Advisory Board, Practice Guidelines recommended by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FTSMB) along with infection control recommendations made by the CDC.

You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment.

These change have been made to help protect clients and myself.

  • I, as well as clients will be required to wear a face mask for the entire session.

  • If you prefer that I wear gloves for your session, I am happy to do so.

  • I will be wearing an apron and it will be changed between each client.

  • I will also be wearing eye protection for you entire session.

  • I will be leaving 30 minutes between appointments times.

  • When you arrive at the salon I ask that you call or text me letting me know that you have arrived.  Please remain in your vehicle until I let you know that it is safe for you to enter.

  • The waiting area has been removed from the salon, please come to your appointment alone, unless you are accompanying a minor.

  • I'll ask that you please wash your hands prior to entering the treatment room; hand sanitizer will also be made available.

  • As always, tables are stripped, sanitized and have freshly laundered linens for each client, including blankets. I also have a biolayer between the sheets and the table warmer. Sanitation includes all surfaces; table, chair, door knobs, coat hooks, lotion bottles, pens, clipboards, etc.

  • If you are not feeling well or have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or if you or someone you have been in contact with is awaiting test results, please help keep me and my family safe be rescheduling your appointment.  There will be no cancellation fee for this reason.

  • If you have recently traveled outside of the state I kindly ask that you please wait at least 14 days after your return to schedule an appointment.

  • All clients are required to sign a COVID -19 informed consent and questionnaire.
